Start Your Mornings Right with a CBD Smoothie
Smoothies are both a delicious and versatile way to kickstart your day. With fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, supplements, and other additions available, it’s easy to keep it fresh and exciting. You can even make yourself a CBD smoothie to start your day on the right foot.
We love making a CBD smoothie to drink on-the-go during our busiest days. With the calming effects of cannabidiol, just a little bit can go a long way for bringing some peace into hectic mornings.
Our Burlington budtender, Drew, shows us how to make some great recipes, including a delicious CBD smoothie that takes just a few steps. We love Drew’s recipe, but the best part about making these smoothies is that you can change them up every day and not get bored. Try swapping out pineapples, bananas, and other favorite fruits to spice it up.
CBD Smoothie Recipe
A handful of spinach or kale
½ cup raspberries
½ cup blackberries
½ cup blueberries
Juice and/or your choice of non-dairy/dairy milk
Fairwinds 1:1 CBD Tincture
Add all of the fruits and vegetables to your blender and fill with your juice or milk of choice. You can also do half milk and half juice. Once you’ve added all the ingredients, it’s time to add CBD. Just add your preferred amount of the Fairwinds CBD tincture directly to the mixture and blend it up.
And there you have it! A delicious CBD smoothie to kickstart your day. We like to drink these smoothies when we have a big day ahead and are feeling particularly anxious or stressed about what’s ahead. CBD tends to help alleviate some of our symptoms of anxiety.
For our CBD smoothies, we use Fairwinds 1:1 CBD tincture. The 1:1 ratio combines the benefits of both CBD and THC, making it great for relaxation or managing physical pain. Fairwinds CBD offers other ratios with higher CBD content for those looking for less THC content. Any of the tinctures will work well for this recipe and provide a range of benefits depending on the amount you add and which tincture you use.
